Purpose: The purpose of the WWFC KidCo Shops is to provide families with Pk-16 students a cost free opportunity to obtain gently used, cleaned and sanitized clothing, equipment, instruments and supplies for school. Ultimately drastically decreasing their household expenses for the long term.
How it Works: Any and everyone can donate items to KidCo Shops. As items are donated they will be reviewed to assure they are clean and working. For each item received 1 KidCo credit (regardless of the value of the item) will be issued to the donor’s account or any account they designate. Items will then be sanitized and packaged nicely. On scheduled days throughout the year at various locations parents/guardians and their children will be able to come in to redeem the credits on their account. The cost of each item will be 1 KidCo credit (regardless of the value of the item).
How to Get Started: Parents/Guardians will be able to sign up for an account on the WWFC KidCo Shops webpage. Upon completion of registration a KidCo Credit Card will be issued with a unique family identification number. Parents/guardians will be able to provide donors with their account number so that when donations are made on their behalf credits can be applied to their KidCo account in their absence.
Unassigned Donations: In the event that KidCo Shops receives donations that are not assigned to a specific KidCo family account there will be a monthly drawing. All unassigned credits will be randomly assigned to selected KidCo accounts and parents/guardians will be notified electronically.
What Happens to Cash Donations: Cash donations will be used in three ways:
